About the Role
Hours: 45–50 hrs/week, typically 12:00 – 22:00 (evenings & weekends required)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a high-end restaurant in Central London. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and the ability to deliver exceptional dishes under pressure. As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service.
Key Duties:
Lead and manage the kitchen team, including Sous Chefs and Line Cooks.
Create seasonal menus and specials aligned with the restaurant’s vision.
Maintain cost controls, ordering, and stock management.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional kitchens, with at least 2 years as Sous Chef or higher.
Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and trends.
Food hygiene and safety certifications (Level 2 or higher).
Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
£45,000–£50,000 per year + performance bonus (PAYE)
